Taking the Plunge

// By Updated:

Today marks the end of an incredible chapter in my life—my last day at Track Revenue. It’s been a transformative 18 months since I joined the Software Engineering team fresh out of California State University, Stanislaus. While my journey was filled with challenges and struggles, I emerged stronger and more knowledgeable than ever.

I embarked on this adventure while still living with my parents, with my girlfriend Aubrey two hours away completing her senior year at Stan State. Fast forward to now, and we’re happily sharing a life together in the vibrant city of San Francisco.

As one door closes, another one opens. Both Aubrey and I are diving headfirst into exciting new opportunities—I’ll be pursuing a full-time career as a DevOps Engineer, while she’ll be shaping young minds as a 4th-grade teacher.

During my tenure at Track Revenue, I played a pivotal role in constructing the infrastructure and scaling the service to accommodate a growing client base. I’m incredibly proud of the work I’ve contributed and have no doubt that the talented team will continue to steer the company toward even greater heights.

This experience allowed me to discover my passion for DevOps, and I’m thrilled to have recently been offered the chance to dedicate myself to this field full-time. It was a difficult decision to leave Track Revenue, but my enthusiasm for building tools and automating tasks ultimately guided me toward this new venture.

As I step into the next phase of my career, I’m eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that await, ever grateful for the invaluable lessons learned at Track Revenue that have prepared me for this moment.
