Taking the Plunge
Today marks the end of an incredible chapter in my life—my last day at Track Revenue. It has been a transformative 18 months since I joined the Software Engineering team fresh out of California State University, Stanislaus. While my journey was filled with challenges and struggles, I emerged stronger and more knowledgeable than ever.
When I started working at Track Revenue I was still living at my parents and my girlfriend was almost 2 hours away finishing her Senior year at Stan State. Now we live together in San Francisco and I could not be happier.
As one door closes, another one opens. Both Aubrey and I are diving headfirst into exciting new opportunities. I will be pursuing a full-time career as a DevOps Engineer, while she will be shaping young minds as a 4th-grade teacher.
During my time at Track Revenue I helped build a lot of the infrastructure and help scale the service to many new customers. I hope that the work I have done will continue Track Revenue on the amazing path that it is on today. I am excited to see where the amazing team can take it.
This experience allowed me to discover my passion for DevOps, and I am thrilled to have recently been offered the chance to dedicate myself to this field full-time.
As I step into the next phase of my career, I am eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that await, ever grateful for the invaluable lessons learned at Track Revenue that have prepared me for this moment.
